In this Privacy Policy, WEEE Forum (“we” or “us”), provide information about how we
collect, use, disclose, and transfer Personal Data from our website visitors (“you”) through
I4R platform’s website available at (“Site”).

“Personal Data” is any data relating to an identified or identifiable individual.

a. Information we collect directly from you

  • Registration for the Platform. We collect Personal Data from recyclers and preparation for reuse organizations (“Users”) when they register for the I4R platform, such as first and last name, email address, company name, country, phone number, user name, and password. We use this information to provide Users with access to the I4R platform.

  • Communications. We may also use your name, email address and phone number to contact you about I4R platform updates.

  • Contact us. You may provide us with Personal Data when you communicate with us via the Site.

b. Information we collect automatically

We use cookies to automatically collect information about website users when they navigate on our Site.   • We may share your Personal Data within I4R Platform founding participants (DIGITALEUROPE and APPLiA), to which it is reasonably necessary or desirable for us to disclose your Personal Data in order to carry out the above-mentioned purposes.

  • We may share your Personal Data with third party service providers who provide services on our behalf. These third parties may have access to or process your Personal Data as part of providing services to us.

  • Your registration information as a User may be disclosed to other Users in the context of I4R platform’s related communications

  • We may preserve and disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with applicable laws, in response to a court order, judicial or other government subpoena, warrant or request, or to otherwise cooperate with law enforcement or other governmental agencies.

We use organisational and technical security measures that are designed to protect your Personal Data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, or any other unlawful form of processing.

Data will be stored as long as the I4R platform is available online or until the user requests to be deleted from the system or performs such deletion himself.

V. Your rights

If you would like to update the Personal Data provided when registering as a User on the Site, please contact the Platform Manager or cancel your account.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to and receive information about the Personal Data we maintain about you, update and correct inaccuracies in your Personal Data, and have the Personal Data blocked or deleted, as appropriate. You also may have the right to object to our processing of your Personal Data and withdraw your consent to our processing of your Personal Data at any time. The right to access Personal Information may be limited in some circumstances by local law requirements. Please note that you may not be able to benefit from all features of the Site if you request the deletion of your Personal Data, object or withdraw your consent to the processing your Personal Data.
